HAIR FASHION 2009

Looking at the big fashion houses it’s going to be a very classic and elegant year. The bob is still going to hang in there during 2009. The bob will be dominating for women with short hair. You could go for the classic bob, it will be discreet but it will work just fine. If you want to be a little more cutting edge it’s the cropped bob or the pixie crop. These hair styles are for the women who did the bob last year and want a change/upgrade. For those who have long straight hair it is suitable with a parting in the middle with fully and a lot of »catwalk« volume, for you with wavy hair it’s parting on the side and 40s wavy hair.

There are three hair styles for men this year.The first one is with a fringe. Fringes in many varieties are available, short ones, long on the side, there are many to choose from. The second one is the back slick, (like George Clooney). And the last one is the parting on the side, it doesn’t have to be the back slick version, you could have it forward but with the fringe on the side.

Colors for the guys will be mostly the natural look, with this classical hair styles. If you really want to be up front in fashion it should be, and I quote this, "obviously blonde". Starting with the winter there are a lot of parting both in the middle or on the side, the fringe is something to be careful with. Two French designers uses fringes on their models but looking at the majority of designers fringes will be something belonging to 2008. The winter season will be dominated by the 50s and the 60s, elegant but more attractive and chic. The colors should be plain and simple, not a lot of highlights and contrast, just a small very natural difference, like a sun kiss. In spring the hair should look like you just came out of the shower in the morning with the feeling of newly washed natural looking hair. It is not supposed to look as if you styled it for two hours in front of the mirror.
 
The color should not appear newly done. For the summer the ponytail will be popular, casual easy and elegant will be the theme for the summer, either that or with many layers of flowing shoulder long hair. The colors will be different blondes, but not a lot of highlights here either and not a too strong contrast just a clean plain color Or a a small shifting color In the autumn the hair will be naturally falling waves and curls, with deep brunette and auburn colors. There will also be a lot of hats for women this year.
